L Peruvian Fine Lenox

Female Huacaya
Bred, Proven
Birthdate: 7/17/2003
Heritage: Full Peruvian
ARI #: 1082159
Color: White
Price: $24,500

Full Peruvian

Lenox is a bright white, full Peruvian Huacaya female outlined with dark skin pigmentation and a spot of brown behind her eyes. Her sire is a fawn, award-winning Matador son owned by Maplewood Farm, and her Dam is one of Maplewood Farm's PPP Imports known for passing on good milking, high IgGs, and color to her offspring.
PROVEN! Lenox is just over 4 years old. She delivered her first cria, Mikasa, in 2006 and her second cria, Saxon, in 2007. Both births were trouble free from delivery to nursing. Mikasa was shown in a Spring Michigan halter show and awarded first place. Saxon was sired by our beige Augusto Grandson, Independance, and is definitely show quality as evidenced by his presence and developing fleece.
BRED! For 2008, Lenox's next cria will be out of Lord Stanley, a brown Peruvian Conan son and 6X color champion. Lord Stanley is owned by Autumn Alpacas, LLC. She was bred to Lord Stanley to produce color and to ensure that she continues her string of show quality crias.

All the work has been done. Proven and bred. The return on your investment could be as early as next year!

A Fine Romance

Female Huacaya, Maiden
Birthdate: 5/13/2007
Heritage: Full Peruvian
Color: Medium Rose Grey
Price: $30,000 one of a kind

Full Peruvian Rose Grey!

This little girl is what a fancy is all about. UNIQUE! She is conformationally correct, stretchy and agile. She is predominantly rose grey with a smattering of light and dark brown, beige and white. Her fleece has architecture and is dense, dense, dense. Her lineage is very interesting in that it goes back to Silver Cesario and Dracula, some well known herdsires.

Romance seems to have taken on the role as "peacemaker" in the herd, and is usually the first to greet visitors. I really look forward to showing her in the spring, and processing her first fleece into yarn that is sure to be beatiful and artistic.

Sire: T Peruvian Destino

White, 848019, Full Peruvian

Destino is the result of a Dracula son and a 1995 Sollocotto Import. His white fiber is very dense, uniform and exhibits a very low percentage of guard hairs yielding a very high comfort factor. His crimp is bold in architecture as well. His bite is perfect and his large testicles are symetrical. He was awarded two second place ribbons at his first show, competed in a very large competitive class at the 2004 AOBA National Conference making the cut and placed 5th out of 12 at the 2004 MIAF.

He has the right stuff to improve density, handle and crimp architecture.

Dam: YBNF's Billie's Holiday

Dark Brown, 1211665, Full Peruvian

Billie's background is rich in color (Silver Cesario grand daughter from the Sire's side, and a Valeroso grand daughter from her Dam's side). She also has the great fiber characteristics that we are breeding for, fineness and 100% comfort factor.

M Peruvian Snow Patrol

Male Huacaya, Unproven
B irthdate: 7/3/2007
Heritage: Full Peruvian
ARI Registration Pending
Color: White
Price: $5000 5/8 Accoyo

Snow Patrol is the first cria out of our foundation female, Maggie Mae. He has all the attributes of a quality show animal, and I am looking forward to showing him next year.

Sire: Chaparral 6011

White, Peruvian
Chaparral is a full accoyo that was imported in 1995. He is owned by Maplewood Farm, and has been since the Vicker's acquired him in 1995. Chaparral is known for his fine and dense fiber, but even more so for his superior conformation.

Dam: MPeruvian Maggie Mae

White, 1060270, Full Peruvian
Maggie was added at the end of 2004 to the SDR foundation herd. Maggie has a superior white fleece background (Dracula grand daughter from her Sire's side). Her Peruvian Sire Beligado (white) is an All American Futurity Reserve Grand Champion. Her Dam Malu (white), a 1994 Peruvian Import, is a proven foundation animal in Maplewood Farm's high quality breeding program.

Maggie is a natural mother with lots of milk and tolerates our presence near her cria.

SDR Peruvian Saxon

Male Huacaya, Unproven
Birthdate: 5/24/2007
Heritage: Full Peruvian
ARI #: 30015212
Color: Beige
Price: $5,000 Full Peruvian

The first thing you notice about Saxon is his erect presence and great conformation. He is the first cria out of our Augusto grandson Independance, and I like what I see so far. Saxon is healthy, typee, and his fiber is developing nicely. His blanket color appears to be holding at beige or light fawn. At this point, he looks to have all the makings of a show quality male. If you have any questions regarding Saxon, please contact us.

Sire:TPeruvian Independance

Beige, 842588, Full Peruvian
Independance exhibits the strong conformation of his sire, Catero, and grandsire, Accoyo Augusto. His dense, uniform fiber is predominantly beige and is relatively free of guard hairs resulting in a very high comfort factor. His pigmentation is dark and his ears are gray, so we suspect that he has the potential to produce color. Indy has proven to be a very healthy alpaca with no skin problems or other issues.

Dam: L Peruvian Fine Lenox

White, 1082159, Full Peruvian

Lenox is a white, full Peruvian Huacaya with dark skin pigmentation and a spot of brown behind her eyes. She has a quiet personality and is easy to handle. Her sire Brio is an award winning Maplewood Farm Herdsire, and her Dam is one of MWF's original Peruvian imports known for good milking, high IgG's, and passing on color to her offspring. Lenox is a natural mother with lots of milk.

SDR Torino

Male Huacaya, Unproven
Birthdate: 9/7/2007
Heritage: Full Peruvian
ARI Registration Pending
Color: Bay Black

Tendu and Pewter have teamed up once again to produce a healthy bay black cria. Torino's full sister, Tempo, sold for $29,000 at the 2006 Peruvian Classic Sale to Highland Alpaca, and is now bred to Pride of America, a Don Timbo son.

It will be some time, but it looks like Torino has the potential to become an asset to produce color and fine, soft fiber as his genetics go back to Silvino, a light rose grey male that was imported in 1998. I am looking forward to showing Torino next year.

Male Huacaya, Proven
Birthdate: 6/30/2003
Heritage: Full Peruvian
ARI #: 848019
Color: White

1/4 ACCOYO DRACULA GRANDSON!

OK, he's cute, but let's get serious! Destino is the result of a Dracula son and our 1995 Sollocottá Import. His white fiber is very dense, uniform and exhibits a very low percentage of guard hairs yielding a very high comfort factor. His crimp is bold in architecture as well. His bite is perfect and his large testicles are symmetrical. He was awarded two second place ribbons at his first show, competed in a very large competitive class at the 2004 AOBA National Conference making the cut and placed 5th out of 12 at the 2004 MIAF.

This young male has a proven lineage and is now breeding and PROVEN! He will make a fantastic production herdsire. He has the right stuff to improve density, handle and crimp architecture. Please contact us for fiber samples, bite pictures, and testicle measurements.

Breed him to your females that are fine and improve their density, bundling and crimp architecture!
